Since the planning began in the Fall of 2012, each Lead Builder has donated over 150 hours of their time. The partnership between Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity and the six building companies exemplifies the power of people working together for a common cause and is indicative of the commitment to giving back, building hope, and supporting the City of Lawrence.

Five days and 250 homes was the nationwide goal for the week of June 4th through June 10th. Our local chapter, Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity, took part and $230,000 in donated goods and 15,000 hours of donated labor later, two deserving families will have a new house to call home.

ND Landscape participated in this project and donated some of those 15,000 labor hours and part of the $230,000 in goods towards the landscaping of two newly constructed homes. ND provided apx. 1,000sf of sod and plant material for foundation plantings in both the front and back of each home. The plantings covered apx. 22 linear feet along the front of the home and nine feet in the back of the home. Drainage rocks to cover 250sf was also donated.

ND believes strongly in giving back to the community and this is just the most recent activity in which the company has been involved. We were honored to be part of this project and wish these two families the best in the future and may they enjoy their new homes, for years to come!
